I definitly think u look the best in the third pics with short hair. But, lay off the eyeliner, it makes u look goth, and not as pretty as you really are. I recommend brown mascara, pink blush, and some gloss. Your hair looks good with hairbands.

You are very pretty so any thing might work for you. but you have the same (or simular) shaped face as me and I had a reverse bob at one time I was Hot with it and you can choose just how short or long your reverse bob is. Plus you can style it in so many different ways too! hope that helps good luck!!

Short hair tends to make your face look rounder and chubbier. So if you are worried about that I wouldn't go really short. You could always dye your hair a natural color thats close to your original color and just let it grow. But if you want a short hair cut I really like this one

Sure it can, but very few women can pull it off In my opinion. Usually women that can pull it off look much prettier in longer hair anyways. I think its more of a cultural thing as well. Hell I would dig a hot chick in some braids, Goldie locks style hair, pigtails, punked out hair do, whatever the current craving is. The person you should be asking is whoever you want to attract. If your doing it for yourself, there's no need to even ask.

god yeah!!! if you have a good face with good bone structure, a buzz cut looks great with a bit of wax thru it. short choppy elfin cuts r great too. you can style a short cut more.

My hair is short because ive never been able to grow it long without it becoming all frizzy with all those little twisted hairs pointing upwards. My hair is extremely coarse which doesnt help because it becomes big big big, like a non curly afro.

It is also dead dry, specially after shampooing, even with a moisturizing shampoo. It is sort of wavy I guess though I've never worn it longer than what, 5 inches?

Anyways, the thing is when it's wet it looks nice, then it dries and it looks horrible. Then I started applying vegetable oils which made it look nice too but it felt oily... (I left it in, what else could I do? IT looked nice.....) Is there any product out there that I can apply to my hair so it looks like wet without it feeling extremely oily?

PS: I dont want to straighten it or iron it i just want it to look moisturized, u know, not wet rat moisturized but nicely moisturized. thanks

I have found that using Bed Head Control Freak while my hair is still wet followed by Marc Anthony Strictly Curls mousse keeps my hair from turning into a fuzz ball for most of the day. Never blow dry!

PS Don't let the "Strictly Curls" throw you off. It's really a frizz control mousse.

well, hair grows back =] theres no other way to say it. you could maybe get it 2 inches at a time, so you can get used to it gradually until you find a length you like. short layers and wispy side swept bangs are a good addition to making it work with your face shape.

My personal opinion would be do not cut it definitely, that short. I think you will regret it. It will very severely limit you ways of wearing it for a very long time if you get tired of it. I just think long hair is so beautiful, I think it is our really or crowing glory to be shown off. But I know you said you had your heart set on it. You will just have to do what you feel is right in your heart and then never look back like I said it will eventually grow out.

Your hair can grow back for the ball, if you so wish. Don't be put of by the thought of what next year may bring. Just prepare yourself to not like this hair-do immediately, any drastic change will take time to get used to, and if you do like it immediately...bonus! As for the ball, if you keep it short, it is no longer such a big deal, I see so many people at these functions with short hair and there are some fab hair ornaments to enhance, the feather on a bejewelled clasp is a big thing at the mo or you can always pin the fron back to give the impression of long hair or even wear an extension!

I can't visualize your haircut, but I say go for it. I used to have fairly long hair and I got it cut above my shoulders. I got really great compliments on my hair. Even a lot of guys commented. Don't base your decision on one night. Since the ball is next year, you can wear a dress before that and if you don't like how you look you can start regrowing your hair. I went to 2 balls while I had short hair. I even have a long neck and I wore a choker-style necklace so my neck didn't look like a giraffe's. If you think about it having short hair isn't any different from having an up-do when it comes to how your neck will look while in a dress. If you have your heart set on it go for it and don't worry about the ball until the time comes. I'm sure you'll look great!

Sounds great, like a French bob. Will thicken up your hair and will be glossier than when longer. Also you can go to town on eye makeup and some fantastic earrings. I've just taken the plunge after years of dangly hair and recommend it. Feels really bouncy. Plus you would stand out from the crowd at the ball, although you could grow it back by next year if you changed your mind.

Wait a day after you do this so your scalp can relax. If you want a lighter color, try one with a blue/violet base which will counteract the orange left behind. Get a trim, because there will probably be some breakage.

not at all! it depends how you wear it. i have a short bob style and i have it swept across one side, layered with the front sections long and the part around the back of the head shorter. it suits most face types, especially round ones. the rounder the face, the straighter it needs to be. my hair is naturally a little wavy, so i have to straighten it every couple of days, but it looks great when its completely straight. not sure about your face type, but mine is round yet quite angular. if you have low cheekbones, avoid a bob, as it will make your eyes look sunken and dark. if you have high cheekbones, go for it-- it accentuates the more delicate parts of the face. it all depends. if you are not sure, try a layered medium length cut, and if you like it then have it made shorter again.

I did the exact same thing, but not as short as you're thinking. The think about curly hair is our curls have to be weighed down to bounce, so in other words it will just stick out because it is not long enough for your curls to hang. I'm 16 years old to be 17 in april. i had super long hair just a couple months ago, had about a foot taken off and donated, got my hair styled and it grew out in a few weeks. my hair grows really fast. i liked getting rid of a lot of my hair. its easier to deal with and move around and i have heard that if you get your hair cut short then it takes longer to grow. obviously it will take longer to grow back out, but i mean it takes longer to grow at all. is this true? i really want to get my hair cut short, but i don't want to get a style that is too old for me. meaning that i'm not looking to look all grown up cuz im not yet and i like it that way. then again i don't want to look younger either. i need some opinions. i believe i have an oval face. a couple of sites say that it's oblong. it's not round, but it's not really long either. i also have medium thick hair. so would these cuts be right for me?

I would highly reccomend you go by referrals or you see their portfolio.

That haircut requires alot of skill and precision b/c of all the angles and hand positioning involved. You don't want your hair to get jacked up b/c someone lies to you about being able to do that cut.

Try an ice-freeze hairspray. There are many on the market to use. That way you can keep your hairstyle the way it is. If you don't get results (which I don't see why not) you should just part your hair on the side and keep it short and manageable.

Don't cut your hair short. I cut mine very short a couple of years ago and its finally starting to get long again, but I regretted cutting my hair more than anything. I look at old pictures of my long hair and I get pissed off because I cut it. Don't cut it short unless you are completley certain you want it.
