How should I style my short hair?

I recently got my hair cut and it is about chin length with short bangs. People, well mostly little kids, but adults too, keep telling me I look weird. So, I'm wondering if I really do look that bad. Are there any suggestions?

Go for a side bang and flip the ends out a bit and a little flare and kick to your hair. You could also add a little curl or wave, you want something simple take a small clip and clip your bangs back also try pushing your bangs up a bit and then clipping down
