Long to short hair?

I have long hair but I love the short hair look (think Eva Longoria 2007 Emmys). How can I style my hair to look short without chopping it off?

short layers makes the hair look shorter.. if you dont want to cut it and make it look shorter... try using some rollers to the end.. that makes the hair roll upwards... you can use small clips to pin the hair at the back towards your neck but it takes forever and needs some maintanance... i suggest rollers... it looks prettier and stays for a while.. :)

Get some short layers, and keep it long at the bottom layers. And try some side swept bangs.

Try making really tight curls, it will shorten it by like 30%. Then side sweep your bangs in the front and it will look shorter

if u have layers thats brill now all u need is clips roll ur hair under spray with hairspray and start clipping turning towards the neck

if its long leave it like that! it really takes a long time for hair to grow back! some people takes longer than others!
