I am a hair stylist and I have never heard that short hair helps your hair to not fall out. It helps your hair look thicker at times. Just be careful if you start using something like rogain because some of those things tell you to use it forever or it might worsen your situation. Short hair is cute though!! A lot of times if you have a little thinning spot and you have long hair, it pulls all your hair down and accentuates the balding spot.
