Good Suggestions on my Hair?

School is coming up and my parents want me to style my hair.

My hair is blonde and thick. It is thick enough that the hair cutters have to soak and shampoo before cutting. After I dry off from my shower, my hair on the sides goes up and away from my head.

I am also overweight, so I have a round face.

So here are my questions:

What are some good yet short hair styles for hair/face like mine? Provide pictures!

What can I do to keep the look?

How can I stop my hair from going up at the sides? (Anything but hair spray! It makes my hair all crunchy and disgusting!)

You may want to ask your hair cutter, she (or he) can help you pick a style that's right for your hair. I suggest you cut it so that it's around your chin, and get the assymetrical (side) bangs to go with it and straighten it. Thick hair right? GET A GOOD STRAIGHTENER!!! I have very thick hair, and I'm so glad to have a good straightener. Then spray some hair spray onto your brush and brush your hair (keeps it in place without too much crunch). I hope I've helped!
