yea u can. ofcourse u can its actually gonna be real easy to do since its fine. first of all youll need to get a short hair cut. do a very big part on and blow your bangs down. then while the back is all still wet . get some gel (i prefer mens gel) and rub it into your hands the slide your hands in your hair very fast over and over again. then if needed keep playin and messing with it till its wat u want !!! keep in mind hair is hair and its not going to look i dentical to the picture but just work at it itll take a few tries and dont get fustrated :D good luck!!

My hair is fine too. Used to have same hairstyle but shorter.

What i did was put a body on it first- meaning have it perm ed for 10-15mins only- NOT MORE THAN 10-15 MINS. Then let them cut it short,spiked the ends. Buy the product SPIKER by Joico, you can buy other product, but this one really worked for me....stays longer. I put a little bit in my finger tips and slowly apply it from root up to the tip...part....by...part...of my hair,...i mean small pinch of hairs. I start in the back. Afterwards, i spray it a liitle bit, not strong hold, so it wont look so stiff.
