Tips for short hair..help asap!?

One of my closest friends got her hair cut really short, normally she has short hair but this time its REALLY short. This friday we're getting together and helping her how to style her hair to make it look more girly. The back is really short, like guy short and its a bit longer in the front..she sorta has side bangs. Please give me ideas for how she can style it!

Part the hair and sweep the bangs to one side. Blow dry it in the desired direction. Use a curved brush to add body. You can use a large barrel curling iron if the hair is stick straight. Use hair cream/pomade or hair spray to keep in place.

Tousle the hair in back %26amp; make it spiky with a good cream, pomade or gel.

The different textures will add interest and a feminine touch.

You can use a couple embellished bobby pins to hold the bangs in place. Cross the pins or arrange them in an interesting way to avoid looking like a little girl.

The bobby pins can be adorned w/ rhinestones or face pearls or just have a tortoise shell sleeve on one side. Check out Goody or Scunci hair pins @ Target, Walmart, etc.

Finally, this haircut sounds like the one Demi Moore had in Ghost. Here's a link to Y! Image Search Results for reference/ideas:

If it's like a bob blow dry it under(with about a 2-inch brush)like this one:

Do a cute bob hair cut lol...well depends the age......just style it the way she wants it. Ask her for photos of way she wants her hair styled....

She should leave her bangs straight and use the curling iron and curl her hair just a bit then scrunch the curls up with gel. Then to make it even more fun, add a wrap-around headband.

Hope it helps!!
