How To Blow Dry Short Hair?

I recently had my hair cut short into a cropped shag style. I have bangs and slightly angled hair that gets shorter and shorter as it reaches the back (into a crop). When I blow dry my hair, it seems to come out poofy rather than straight. When the stylist cut my hair, he flat ironed it as well (though I don't really need it), but when I tried to iron my hair, it didn't curl under, but rather stuck out on the ends. How can I style my hair so that it's straight and flat without products? I use de-frizz serum, and pomade, but that's about it.

When you are blow drying your hair. Use a paddle brush and brush your hair in one direction then in the opposite and go back and forth. That should make it lie pretty flat.

Also, get a flat iron that in narrow and when you flat iron, turn the iron slightly under so you don't get the ends that poke staight out. make sure to use good hair products for your hair type too! hope this helps

All you can do without using extra stuff is to blow dry it in the direction you want it to go. If you don't want it poofy, blow it straight down in the direction of hair growth. You still may need to use a curling iron for the ends though.

You read my mind...I was going to suggest the Frizz-Eaze. (sp?) Make sure you're putting the freeze stuff on wet hair and especially get the ends. I'd also use a good quality round brush to get it to curl under.
